The Kingdom Mandates

THE KINGDOM MANDATE

In the world at this time and for all times there resides a war between two invisible kingdoms but with visible and tangible results.

  • The kingdom of light
  • The kingdom of darkness

The kingdom of light is made up of God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, the Innumerable Company of Angels, The Church and Believers in Christ. While the kingdom of darkness is made up of Satan, one-third of all angels i.e demons (fallen angels - chained or free), witches & wizards, satan worshipers, the world’s fallen systems, our flesh.

Every word you say and every action you make propagates either of the two; whether you are conscious of it or not. Sadly there is no middle ground in war, if you try to take the middle ground, you will be taken out by stray bullets. The outcome of this battle has already been prophesied, and as with all prophecies the prayers and actions we take will either speed up its manifestation or slow it down.

There are two passages that speak to the victory of light over darkness at the end of time which you will need to understand to function effectively in the Lord's Army, and surely, we are in the end times.

Prophecy 1: Isaiah 60:1-3

Isaiah 60:1-3 (KJV)

60 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

The kingdom of darkness has not totally taken over the world but it has come dangerously close enough. All believers must wake up to this reality and arise, shine for your light is come. It has already been prophesied in Isaiah 60 that darkness for a time will cover the earth but if believers arise and shine, the darkness will be dispelled and the gentiles will come to this light; meaning souls will be saved.

Prophecy 2: Daniel 2:43-45

Daniel 2:43-45 (KJV)

43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

This passage speaks about King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream which troubled him greatly. So much so that he threatened to kill all the wise men in the land if they can’t both tell him the dream and interpret it. Daniel served the living God so He got the dream and interpretation as God revealed to him. The significance of this scripture is that the statue seen in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream refers to all world powers from the Babylonian kingdom all the way to the last world power on earth which is the mix of iron and clay. But the end of this dream is that a stone cut without hands which is God's kingdom will arise and dominate all other kingdoms before it and rule forever. We the church are this stone and we are to dominate.

Prophecy 3: Isaiah 2:1-4

Isaiah 2:1-4 (KJV)

2 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

This passage confirms what it looks like when Isaiah 60, and Daniel 2 has occurred. It shows how all nations will flow into God's house to be taught his ways, a time of no more war but peace and joy. The world seeks peace but only the kingdom of light has the power to bring it, as its commander in chief is called “The Prince of Peace”.

What is the Kingdom Mandate?

God is a King, a King has a kingdom and every kingdom has an army. Once you accepted Christ, you automatically were drafted into the Army of God's kingdom on earth.

The army of the kingdom of light is the church. The goal of this great army is to reconcile all souls and the world to God through Jesus Christ our savior; we are an army whose purpose is reconciliation

In God's army, we have various units. The nature of the units in God’s army is not a subject for discussion in this book, yet one thing we can agree on is that in God’s army there are units.

Some of us are front liners, snipers, medics to treat the injured, teachers (trainers) who keep training more and more soldiers, some handle research and intel gathering, others are battle strategists, and so on. If you don't know the role you play in God's army, you are a liability in the army, the role you play in God's army is what can simply be called YOUR PURPOSE.

The kingdom army mandates are the 4 core directives God's army on earth must carry out to secure the kingdom of the world to become the kingdom of our God.

Mandate 1:

That you become more like Jesus every day so that it is like Jesus is still on earth. Jesus’ ministry did not end, it continues through us. When we abide in Him we become more like Him thereby producing the fruit of the spirit necessary to please God and save humanity. This also means dying to self daily.

Romans 8:29 KJV

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Mandate 2:

Actively play your part in the mission of winning and discipling of souls. Ensure the gospel gets to the ends of the earth, all tribes, and all peoples hearing the good news.

Matthew 24:14 KJV

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mandate 3:

You are to unite as the body of Christ,   subdue & dominate the kingdoms of the world for the Kingdom of God. God wants us to both save people and change the systems that darkness used to enslave them. We change these systems so that people don't fall back into slavery.

Mandate 4: (THIS APPLIES TO MARRIED BELIEVERS)

Build a good godly family/home to produce seeds who will also grow to become soldiers of Christ to the world. We are to replicate ourselves in our families so the next generation has soldiers who are 2 times greater than the former and it starts in our homes.

To truly advance the Kingdom of Light you must be deliberate about it, and it starts with Salvation. When you enter into the Lord's Army by salvation, the enemy already notes you as a threat. Therefore, it will be foolish not to learn how to battle and what role you are to play in this army of light.

Since the church age began the church has focused more on Mandate 1&2 but not on Mandate 3. Now, all three must be done to enable the Kingdom to dominate.

Instead of uniting as the body of Christ, we have kept dividing and that will not bring the Kingdom dominion. We are not just a saved people; we are in a Kingdom with a real King who wants to extend His territories on the Earth, and we are the custodians of that mandate here on earth. The fulfillment of all three mandates ties to the second coming of Christ which is the crowning event of the Kingdom’s victory on earth.

Is the Kingdom of God Here Already or Is it to Come?

Most believers mistake the Kingdom of Heaven as the Kingdom of God. A kingdom simply means a territory ruled by a King, His values, and power.   heaven is a kingdom, but the Kingdom of God refers to God's kingdom both in heaven and on earth as His plan is to have all kingdoms of the world belong to Him through us both now and in the age to come.

The Kingdom of God on earth is simply believers bringing to the earth the reality, culture, and values of heaven under God. Jesus clearly stated in Matthew 12:28 that the fact that He can cast out demons by the power of God shows the kingdom of God has arrived amongst us. This is why every believer must exercise the power of the Holy Spirit as stated in Mark 16: 15-18. When you heal someone by God's power you are bringing the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven into that life, why? Because in heaven there is no sickness. When you show God's love to others, you are practicing the culture of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth which changes the earth, as God is love.

To end this chapter let us remember the prophecy in Daniel chapter 2, it states that the stone cut without hands will not just subdue all others but also become a great mountain. This means that even though the   Kingdom came over 2000 years ago, it is yet to become the Mountain that covers the earth; which is what the end-time generation must carry out as one army in the unity of faith and love, manifesting as light and salt all over the world to the Glory of Christ above all.
