Biggest Lesson Learned 2019/2020

The Major lesson I have learned this past year is to be patient with yourself, don't make comparisons, and enjoy the process of growth.

With the concept that each tree/plant yields its OWN FRUIT. God helped me realize that not all fruits grow in full view of everyone. Just as the stem of a plant produces branches, the root also produces branches.

Some trees yield their produce or show their fruit on their branches outside alone e.g Oranges, while some only grow theirs on branches underground e.g Yams.

Your type of tree will determine whether your fruit/impact/progress will grow publicly or privately.

Until its time for the harvest, you may ignorantly think the tree whose produce grows below the ground is an unfruitful tree and the one whose fruits are in full view is the better option.

This is why making comparisons is not wise. You may be totally different types of trees, own who God has made you to be, and revel in your uniqueness whether people see it early or not, one day the harvest will show as long as you stay rooted in God.

Just remain committed to growth, and keep being a blessing to God's kingdom & Humanity in line with purpose. The fulfillment from the work itself is a reward.

  1. Awesome!

Can't agree less to this as a botanist.
There will always be a disparity in the working operations of individual life.

    Comparison erodes uniqueness.

So to add a little as a botanist, the stability and sustainability of fruits depend also on if it grows within or outside the branch.
    Nice and succinct lesson here.

  2. This is very true; comparison kills and can even stunt one's growth.
